Shield OTR is a specialty chemical formulated to help extend the life expectancy of off-the-road tires and rims. When Shield is added to the tire before filling with air, it helps protect the rim from rust, prevents tire damage and lessens difficulty dismounting. Shield’s unique color will indicate air leakage from punctures, wheel damage or damaged o-rings.

Shield keeps tires running cooler while protecting the tire from drying and cracking from the inside. It works to extend wheel life by stopping rust that causes pitting and other damage. Although Shield is not a puncture sealant, it functions as an indicator for punctures and other serious wheel problems that cannot be seen or detected otherwise.

Directions

Shield will protect tires and rims and will also detect leaks from the natural washing action created during the revolution of the product in the tire. Shield can be installed during the mounting process by pouring, pumping or using a pressurized tank. See chart for suggested usage amounts for different size tires. It is a violation of federal law to use this product in any manner inconsistent with its labeling.
